Together in Silence

This painting was inspired by the feelings I experienced while watching the solar eclipse.

I was sitting there in those glasses, staring into the dark nothingness, and I was struck by the silence. There was noise all around me, but the moment I put on the glasses, everything suddenly faded away. Nothing remained but the darkness and the tiny glowing spot of the Sun, slowly embraced by the Moon.

I watched their slow dance as they moved closer and closer to each other, as if nothing else around them mattered. It was incredible to see the tiny Moon, completely hidden in darkness, cover the enormous Sun.

Then a thought crossed my mind: maybe we all have somebody hiding in the shadows, making all the wonders visible.
