This bookmark was inspired by the famous quote of Mark Twain: “Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear - not absence of fear".
I think we are all afraid of something. Maybe to move forward, make a step into the unknow. I felt small and incapable, but then this words came to my mind, and it gave me so much power, so it became a bookmark for somebody else in the same situation.
Watercolor and fineliner on paper. Double-sided artwork. Protected with a varnish layer, but not fully waterproof.
